about the course

This course is held in the Postgraduate Education Centre at Morriston Hospital, Swansea.

The course covers the essentials of CT and MRI diagnosis and staging of common head and neck cancers (Nasopharynx, Oropharynx, Oral Cavity, Larynx and Hypopharynx). The course is designed to be interactive, practical, and fun. The viewing sessions provide registrants with the opportunity to assess and interpret a wide range of real life head and neck cancer cases on individual workstations utilizing 19" monitors. Each viewing session involves the assessment of 3/4 CT or MRI cases. Viewing sessions are followed by interactive answer periods where teaching points, tips, tricks and pitfalls are discussed.

The course provides you with the opportunity to test yourself on your ability to interpret common head and neck cancer cases. The interactive nature of the course provides the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss common problems and difficulties.
