Findings:
The opacity in the right upper zone looks suspicious for TB. However, it extends above and beyond the lung apex. Elsewhere, the CXR is normal.
Conclusion:
The opacity is not intrapulmonary. It is extrathoracic. At this particular site a thick hair braid can cover the apex of a lung and produce a shadow. A hair braid artefact is more common in women than in men.
The CXR needs to be repeated with the hair kept well away from the thorax.
Follow up: the radiograph was repeated (see below) with the hair tied up in a bun so that it was completely out of the way.
The repeat CXR is entirely normal.
